How fast can a recovery truck get to me?

Response times vary by area, traffic and how busy providers are. The firm gives you an ETA when they call, before you commit. On a motorway or anywhere dangerous, get to safety first, and call 999 if you are at risk.

Can you recover any type of vehicle?

Firms listed here recover cars, vans, motorcycles and commercial vehicles, and some handle HGVs. Check the firm's profile or ask when you call.

What if I've been in an accident?

Call 999 first if anyone is injured. Once safe, request recovery through our form or call a provider direct. They handle post-collision removal and can advise on insurance procedures.

Do I need to be with the vehicle?

Ideally yes, but if the vehicle is in a safe location, many providers can collect with a signed authority. Contact your chosen provider to arrange.

Is it more expensive at night?

Most providers charge a small surcharge for out-of-hours work (evenings, weekends, bank holidays), typically £30–£60 extra. Ask for the price before you agree.
