Your footage may be referenced in our incident reports to corroborate timelines and conditions. We never download, re-upload, or redistribute your video. It stays on your chosen platform (YouTube, Google Drive, etc.) and you can remove it at any time.

We do not publicly credit submitters by default to protect your privacy. If you'd like to be credited, mention it in the description field and we'll add attribution.

Yes — footage for any incident in our archive is welcome. Use the search box to find the incident by road name, date, or ID number. Our archive goes back months.

No. UK Traffic Updates is an incident monitoring and evidence platform. We inform drivers, help them avoid traffic, and provide timestamped evidence reports. We don't share crash footage for entertainment — submitted evidence is used to support drivers who were genuinely affected.

Our team reviews submissions and matches them to incidents in our database. If your footage is relevant and matches an active or archived incident, it may be referenced in reports generated for that incident. You'll receive an email confirmation.
